Note: The concentration requirements are subject to annual revision. All changes are effective immediately, unless they constitute a substantive disruption of a student’s program. In such cases, specific guidance should be sought from the Engineering Concentration Committee.

Office of Student Affairs Mission Statement 

The mission of the Student Affairs Team is to collaborate with faculty to provide students with advising and planning in order to explore the curriculum at Brown and effectively communicate process, policies and program requirements to ensure academic success. The Team delivers the tools and resources to ensure Engineering students have access to co-curricular and extracurricular programs and activities. It coordinates research experiences and undergraduate/graduate teaching opportunities. The Team also serves as the facilitator for prospective student inquiries around Engineering programs. We assist students of all levels and backgrounds in  achieving their goals and engaging fully in their experience at Brown University School of Engineering.
