Brown-in-France program

Students enrolled in the Brown-in-France program may study for the whole academic year or a semester in Paris or Lyon. This is a direct entry program, where Brown students are enrolled directly in the French institutions : Universités de Paris 1 (Sorbonne-Panthéon) and 4 (La Sorbonne), Paris 6 (UPMC) and 8 (Vincennes-Saint-Denis), l'Ecole Centrale de Paris, Sciences-Pos-Lyon (IEP) and Université Lumière Lyon 2. A preliminary session in Paris enables students to perfect their French through an orientation program supervised by the program resident director Stéphanie Ravillon (2015-2016) in Paris or with Barbara Michelot in Lyon.

Language prerequisite: FREN0600 or equivalent. For more information contact the Office of International Programs at 401-863-3555 or the campus director Annie Wiart 401-863-3222.
