Admitted Students Guide: Brown Account Activation

As a graduate student, you will receive two accounts: a Brown account and a Google Apps account (Brown email). To activate these accounts, you will need your Banner ID number, found on the official admission letter, which you have or will receive after April 15. To activate, visit For your records, please be sure to make a note of your Brown username, email address, Google username, and Google password during the activation process. If you have trouble activating your electronic services, call the Center for Information Technology (CIT) Help Desk at (401) 863-4357 or visit them at 115 Waterman Street.
