Fiction writer Christine Schutt is the author of three books, A Day, A Night, Another Day; Florida; and Nightwork, a short-story collection chosen by poet John Ashbery as the best book of 1996 for the Times Literary Supplement. Her work has also appeared in many literary journals, including the Mississippi Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, The American Voice, The Kenyon Review, Denver Quarterly, and NOON. Winner of an O’Henry Prize and a Pushcart Prize, she received her MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University.
