Rachel Blau DuPlessis is well known as a feminist critic, scholar, essayist, and poet. She is the author of more than twenty books of poetry and critical work, including Drafts 1 – 38, Toll; DRAFTS: Drafts 39 – 57, Pledge with Draft, Unnumbered: Précis; The Pink Guitar: Writing as Feminist Practice; Genders, Races, and Religious Cultures in Modern American Poetry, 1908 – 1934; and many others. Professor of English at Temple University, she is the recipient of the Roy Harvey Pearce/Archive for New Poetry Prize and a Pew Fellowship in the Arts. Her work has been widely anthologized.
