Geetha Gopalakrishnan, MD, joined the faculty in 2001 as assistant professor of medicine in the division of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She graduated from Texas A&M University Health Science Center with a BS in basic medical science in 1992 and received her MD in 1994. After completing internal medicine residency training at Brown University, she subspecialized in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Stanford. She also obtained additional postdoctoral training in epidemiology and biostatistics from Stanford. Her honors include the Fogerty International Research and Training Fellowship from the International Health Institute at Brown University and the MSC Jordan Fellowship from Texas A&M University.
