Biography

As a trauma/surgical critical care surgeon, I focus on the immune and inflammatory dysfunction of sepsis and critical illness. This involves translating bench findings into bedside observations in ICU patients. Further, I foucs on the role of invariant Natural Killer T-cells in modulating the immune dysfunction of critical illness.
