Weather and Weekend Attire
In Rhode Island, temperatures on Memorial Day weekend have been as high as 90 degrees or as low as 50 and rain is always a possibility. We strongly advise you to bring an umbrella and suitable clothing for variable weather. Most events are casual. Campus Dance attire is a personal choice ranging from gowns and tuxedos to jeans and Bermuda shorts.
For those who like the convenience (and the nostalgia) of staying on campus, rooms are available in Machado House on Prospect Street. For specific information regarding pricing, deadlines, and to request a reservation, please visit the Office of Residential Life.
Please specify that you are requesting to stay in Machado House as part of the Medical School group.

BROWN UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL REUNION
The Spa at the Providence Biltmore will extend a 20% Group Discount rate to medical alumni during your stay. Just mention the Group Discount Rate to the Spa Concierge upon booking. Contact the Spa at 401 455-3100 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
On campus: You may leave your car in any of the University lots throughout campus. The two lots with the most spaces available are: the Erickson Complex, corner of Hope and Lloyd streets, and the Power Street lot (both lower and upper levels) at the corner of Power and Thayer streets.
At Alpert Medical School (222 Richmond Street): Metered spaces are available on several streets near the Medical School building, including Richmond St., Elm St., and Chestnut St. Please adhere to posted signs regarding allowable hours and parking limitations, and note that meters only accept quarters. Parking is available at the garage adjacent to the Medical School building on Friday, May 24, for a fee. After 5 p.m. on Friday, May 24 and throughout the weekend, lot 30 (on the corner of Elm and Richmond streets) and lot 81 (corner of Ship and Richmond streets) will be open and available to all Reunion attendees.
Shuttle Service to Alpert Medical School
Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Van Wickle Gates and 222 Richmond Street on Friday, May 24, from 1 to 6:30 p.m., and on Saturday, May 25, from 2:30 to 6 p.m.
