December 2 - Work-in-Progress Show
Granoff Center, Englander Studio
PROGRAM DETAILS--The "Work-In-Progress" show is an interdisciplinary exhibition/show of work that is quite literally in progress. There is an expectation that these works are material. Not simply ideas or concepts (unless the concept/idea is the work, I guess....)
You are more than welcome to submit a project that you made for class that you may want to push further or something that you are working on outside of school.
At the show participants will present their work, talk about its genesis, its current state, and its potential future. Afterwards we will open up floor and permit attendees to offer constructive input This is not so much a crit as it is a brainstorming session culling from interdisciplinary creativity.
The "Work-In-Progress" Show is one of a two part event. In May we will host a "Progress-In-Work" Show where participants of the "Work-In-Progress" show are encouraged (though not required) to show the evolved state of their work.
