Pre-College Programs: Mail Services

Information for Accepted Students

During your time at Brown, mail can be picked up at the Brown mailroom at the J. Walter Wilson building (69 Brown St.) across from the Main Green.

The mailroom is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Family and friends should address letters
and packages to you as follows:

Your Name
Brown University
Pre-College Programs
69 Brown Street
Providence, RI 02912

It is up to each student to check for mail at the Brown mailroom.

Shipped items should arrive on campus no more than a week in advance of a student's program start date. It is suggested that packages be shipped via US Post Office Priority, UPS, DHL, or Fed Ex Ground for tracking purposes. Students will be able to pick up their packages on the Monday of the start of the program. The Brown Post Office is closed on Sunday.

When programs are over, any first class/priority mail or packages not retrieved by students before they leave campus are forwarded back to the student or returned to sender. We are not responsible for mail or shipments to and from Brown via the United States Postal Service or carrier service.
