The Phil Estes Football Camp, is designed for the football player interested in playing at the college level, including kicking and punting. Players looking to improve technique and fundamentals may also attend. *Players who are not allowed to wear shoulder pads due to high school or state regulations may still attend camp.
The philosophy of the Phil Estes Football Camp is to teach every participant sound fundamental techniques at their specific positions and instruct and refine those techniques on the practice field. This is a technique camp; no drills will be entirely live. Proper technique and fundamentals will be emphasized. The camp will not only improve the techniques of each player but also serves as an informational introduction to IVY League Football. Currently close to 50% of Brown's football roster attended this camp.
Coach Estes and his entire staff, as well as coaches from NESCAC and several Division I, II and III schools will be on hand to personally coach and instruct each player. Schools represented over the past couple of years include: Duke, UConn, Assumption, Amherst, Bates, University of Chicago, Colby, Hamilton, Merrimack, Middlebury, Rose-Hulman, Sacred Heart, Trinity, Wesleyan, Williams and more.
