About the TheatreBridge Program

Six Weeks of Immersive Theatre Study for High School Students

The renowned TheatreBridge Company invites passionate and idealistic young theatre artists to join us on the Brown campus for a 6-week residency dedicated to tapping into the fun and intensity that makes the most memorable acting truly irresistible. We believe that if you nurture the human being, the creative artist will also grow.

Below you will find an outline based on this past summer’s schedule. While each summer is not identical, you can expect to engage in similar activities while you are enrolled in TheatreBridge.

Weekends

Unless special events or assignments are scheduled, students use weekend time for research, rehearsal, and relaxation.

Co-Curricular Activities

The TheatreBridge program creates an intensive and focused work environment where students are often fully engaged in theatre-related activities throughout the day.  As time allows, TheatreBridge students are invited to participate in all Summer@Brown co-curricular activities and events.
