ScM or AM in Biostatistics - Admission Requirements
Applications from students in applied fields such as biology, biochemistry, economics and computer science are strongly encouraged, with the understanding that necessary mathematical coursework may have to be completed before or soon after enrollment in the program.
Entering students should have two to three semesters of calculus and one semester of linear algebra.
The GRE general test is required; MCAT or LSAT tests cannot be substituted. Experience with numerical computing is recommended.
Students wishing to pursue graduate work in Biostatistics must complete a University application. Materials are available directly from the Graduate School. The Department's Masters Admissions Committee will consider all applications received by March 1st. To receive full consideration for financial aid, applications must be received by February 1.
