CSREA sponsors several research projects on U.S. minority/ethnic populations, including efforts that underscore CSREA's commitment to New England communities. Recent projects include:

"The Immigrant Paradox: Children's Education and Behavior" and the New England extension of the Latino National Survey.

The Fox Point Cape Verdean Project.

"Me anings of Success and Identity for Dominican Girls ages 14-18 in Providence, RI."

 

Other CSREA-sponsored projects include the Bracero History and Archives Project and the Rhode Island Racial and Ethnic Minority Disparities Project.

During the academic year, CSREA also co-sponsors colloquia, conferences, lectures, a film series, as well as several speaker series.
