BIOMIMICRY: A Call for Submissions

February 12, 2014

From the classic hand turkey to Velcro to complex nanotubes drawing on viral capsids -- humans have been looking to nature for answers for many moons. Are you one of them? In the world of design, using biomimicry means incorporating elements of an organically occurring system.

We seek to curate a selection of works from the Brown and RISD community that illustrate forms of biomimicry. The exhibition will be shown during the spring semester in the Science Center, and will be paired with a series of events and speakers.

Please send submissions by Feb 21st as high-quality .tif, .png, .jpg, or .mov files to brownsciencecenter@gmail.com.
