Components of the Application:

• Application: Please download the application from the link below.  After filling in the information, type directly into a word document. When all parts are completed, convert this to a PDF file and merge your Internal Academic Record into the PDF file. Please send this by e-mail to Linda Walsh, the HHMI Brown Program Coordinator.
• Applicants must be Brown University students in good academic standing and provide a transcript, an essay explaining their interest in scientific research and their long-term goals.
• They should also indicate why they have chosen their favored research track within the HHMI-Brown Fellows Program.
• A recommendation letter from one faculty member, preferably a faculty member in a relevant scientific discipline. Please ask for this letter to be sent by e-mail directly to, Linda Walsh (linda_walsh@brown.edu), the HHMI Brown Program Coordinator.
