Gary Blank is guest lecturer for the Taubman Center's policy course, "Aging and Public Policy: The Impact of an Aging Society on Public and Private Sector Organizations." He is senior vice president of Policy, Planning and Strategy for Fidelityâ€™s Public Affairs and Policy group. He oversees a team responsible for evaluating state, federal and international public policy issues -- including policies related to financial services, retirement and taxation.
Mr. Blank served as chief of staff for the Council of Economic Advisers under George W. Bush from 2005 to 2007. He was the top aide to Harvey Rosen, Ben Bernanke and Ed Lazear, the council's chairmen.
