“Reflections on the Demographics, Economics and Politics of State Pension Reform,” presented by Dick Woodbury, economist and program administrator with the National Bureau of Economic Research. A light lunch will be provided.

Dick Woodbury is an economist and program administrator with the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is also in his fourth term in the Maine state legislature; his first as a State Senator. His recent research has focused on population aging, state pension plans, Social Security and tax reform. He is a graduate of Williams College and has a PhD in economics from Harvard University. The combination of his career background in public economics, and his legislative experience, provide a rich perspective on the intersections of policy and politics.
