Undergraduates at Brown make theatre, dance, and performance-based work all over campus. In addition to Department offerings, Brown hosts a multitude of student performance groups that produce work virtually all over campus.

Body & Sole: a student-run umbrella organization that supports the activities of all the vibrant student dance groups and independent dancers at Brown. Please visit their page to learn more and get involved.
Brownbrokers: with the Department, has been producing original student-written musicals on the Brown University Department stage for over 70 years.
Brown Opera Productions: dedicated to the promotion and performance of classical vocal music both on campus and in the greater Providence community.
Brown University Gilbert & Sullivan: founded in 2004 to promote appreciation for and awareness of the wonderful works of W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.
Dance Extensions: a modern repertory dance company founded in 1979 by founding Director of Dance, Julie A. Strandberg.
Musical Forum: entirely student run group dedicated to the production of musical theatre by the Brown student body.
New Works/World Traditions: an international performance troupe founded by Michelle Bach-Coulibaly, dedicated to utilizing the power of performance to educate, deliberate and inspire social engagement.
Production Workshop: completely student-run non-profit theatre company, complete with board members, a yearly season and their own budget.
Shakespeare on the Green: Brown's only theatre group dedicated to outdoor and site-specific productions of Shakespeare and other classic works.
