We are aware that a number of schools and students have been unable to meet our extended Early Decision application deadline (November 7) because of the impact of Hurricane Sandy. We will continue to accept Early Decision application materials from students and schools and will continue to be as flexible as we can in responding to individual situations. If you need additional time to submit Early Decision Application materials, please notify us at admission@brown.edu. Please include "extension request" in the subject line. In the body of your e-mail, be sure to include your name and the date by which you hope to complete your application.

SAT Testing
We understand there have been significant weather-related site closures and postponements of SAT testing dates. Standardized testing is one criterion among many in Brown's admission process, and we want to assure you that your application will be considered carefully and thoughtfully with all the information we have available to us, even if you are unable to sit for the November SAT administration.  Early Decision applicants who are unable to sit for the November test should have results sent to us from a prior test date.
