Student Advisory Board (SAB)

Dear BCSC community,

The Student Advisory Board (SAB) has played a critical role in the Center’s evolution. In 2011-12, the SAB participated in two successful searches for Assistant Director positions. In 2012-13, the SAB took part in the Center’s program review and re-established the student leadership awards. In 2013-14, the SAB facilitated open space dialogues as part of our Strategic Plan. This year, the SAB’s charge is:

  • communicate updates to/from SAB from/to respective groups
  • help implement the BCSC’s strategic plan and re-branding campaign
  • select leadership award recipients
  • provide timely feedback on BCSC priorities and delegated tasks

It is with great excitement that I announce this year’s SAB members:

  • Jonelle Ahiligwo ’16 (Media Team/Front Desk)
  • Brianna Cox ’18 (TWTP)
  • Silvina Hernandez ’17 (Initiatives)
  • Jack Martin ’17 (At-Large Undergraduate)

  • Liliana Sampedro ’18 (At-Large Undergraduate)
  • Ronald Scott, Jr. ’17 (Heritage Series)
  • Jarred Turner ’16 (The Next Thing)

I have full confidence that this board will make significant contributions to the success of the BCSC. Please join me in congratulating our new SAB members!

Sincerely,

Mary Grace Almandrez
