To foster a community learning environment, residential participants are provided on-campus accommodations at the Saunders Inn at Brown. A limited number of rooms have been reserved. These rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis until filled or until July 1, 2009. After these rooms are filled, BWS participants will be assigned dormitory accommodations located with the same building as the Inn.

If you need on-campus housing, please check the appropriate box on the application. After you are accepted and once we receive your $300 deposit, you will be assigned housing.

Accommodations at the Inn at Brown are designed to provide comfortable on-campus accommodations for affiliated guests of Brown University. Single rooms have high-speed wireless internet access, air-conditioning, cable TV (basic campus cable), iron & ironing board, hairdryer, coffee maker / tea, and parking ($7.00/per car per night). All Inn rooms are non-smoking and there are no pets allowed. For more details, visit: http://www.brown.edu/Facilities/Saunders_Inn/

Each bedroom has a single bed, pillow, dresser, lamp, desk, and chair. You will be provided with sheets, pillowcases, and a lightweight blanket. Please bring your own toiletries. Each dorm room has an Ethernet data port and wireless access. The dormitory is non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Parking is available ($7.00/per car per night).

Meals
Residential students will be provided with a daily breakfast. All students (residential and non-residential) will be provided with dinner at a location to be announced.

Due to the intensive and community atmosphere created on campus, meal times will be shared with the faculty, guests, and other symposium staff, adding to the opportunities to discuss their work and enhancing the learning environment of the symposium.

Workshops, readings, and panels will be presented in a variety of venues on Brown University's historic and beautiful campus.

Note: The Program fee for residents is $1,930
(This includes the cost of the program, meals, and six nights’ accommodation.)
