Course Description: This course on creative nonfiction offers class members the chance to examine what goes into good writing and what it means to be a writer. We will read from a range of works, which we will discuss in class, and we will produce and respond to our own writing in workshop. Keeping in mind that writing is an act of perception, we'll endeavor to challenge and encourage one another to arrive at the fullest expression of our ideas. New and returning students are welcome.

Readings for this course will be from: In Fact: The Best of Creative Nonfiction by Lee Gutkind and Annie Dillard (Paperback - Nov 17, 2004)
