Register online at our secure course enrollment website »

Browse the courses by clicking on the categories: Humanities, Languages, Writing, Sciences

Select your course(s), select the “Add to Courses” button located below the course description. You will then need to select “Payment Method,” again located below the course description.

Once you have chosen all of your courses, select “Checkout.” More information.

On the Delivery Address page of the website, you have two options of how to proceed:

  1. Enter your email address and continue unregistered
  2. Register and continue

As additional pages appear, please enter the required information.

Payment Options

Credit Card

Payment by credit card is fast and secure through our secure course enrollment website and is the preferred method of payment for the Continuing Studies courses at Brown.

For Brown Employees

If you are using your Brown Employee Education Benefit, please fill out an EEP application; this will require your manager’s signature.

Once you have approval from Human Resources, register for your course using our course enrollment website. Under “Payment Method,” select “Brown Employee Education Benefit.” This will register you for the class and ensure that you do not need to make a financial transaction. Continue with the registration process.

Electronic Check/ACH

If you opt to pay by electronic check/ACH, under “Payment Method,” select “Electronic Check/ACH.” The top of the page provides a place to enter credit card details. Please ignore this. Directly below is the location to enter bank account and routing information for the electronic check payment.

"Bill Me" Option

If you opt to pay by check or money order, under “Payment Method,” select “Bill Me.” An invoice will be sent from CEBilling@brown.edu. Please make the payment out to Brown University with the course name on the memo line and mail it within three days or your registration cannot be guaranteed.

Check Conversion Notification: When you provide a check for payment, you authorize Brown University to either use the information from your check to make a one-time electronic funds transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction.

When we use information from your check to make an electronic funds transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day we receive your payment and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution.
