Migration Timeline
We know that your work lives depend heavily on email and calendaring, so we are developing our schedule to minimize disruption of interdepartmental calendaring.
Milestones
- Late April - migration of CIS directors, some individual Early Adopters
- May - migration of Early Adopter departments and individuals, which will include faculty and graduate students
- Mid to Late May - training for support staff and Google Guides
- June 3rd - Staff Development Day, includes intensive Google training
- June 7th - 11th ("G Week") - migration of administrative departments, such as CIS and departments in the BOB. Two trainings will be scheduled per day.
- June 14th - 18th - additional departments move, two trainings will be scheduled per day.
- Before the fall semester - additional training for faculty
Detailed Departmental Timeline
If your department is not yet on this list, we are still finalizing your migration date. Each department has a liaison within CIS who will be working with a departmental contact to coordinate all the necessary resources for migration.
