The Microsoft DCOM RPC vulnerability has been actively exploited across the Internet. Several worms, Blaster (alias Lovsan), Welchia, and Randex.E have been reported using this vulnerability in huge numbers.

A new variant of the SoBig worm W32.Sobig.F@mm has surfaced on campus. It spreads via email with the following subjects:
