The STAs are available to assist Brown University faculty and graduate TAs in the following areas:
- Video digitization and editing for video reserves (VHS tapes, MINIDV and DVD)
- Video shooting and digital post-production projects (with Final Cut Pro)
- DVD production (with DVD Studio Pro)
- Creation of web animations (Flash, Quicktime movies)
- Creation of custom websites (instructional content ONLY)
- Graphic design for the web and for print
- Development of database web applications with Php/MYSQL
- Creation and addition of content to MyCourses (Blackboard CMS) classes
- Slide and photo digitization
- Text digitization (OCR and special PDFs)
- Assistance with creation of PowerPoint and HTML presentations
- Dreamweaver and HTML/XHTML support
- Technical Illustrations
