- Use your meals to get into all-you-care-to-eat dining halls.
- You can also use a meal credit at a campus retail venue. A meal's value is a non-refundable $5.75. Pay any remaining balance with Flex Points or cash. Use up to 2 meal credits each day.
- Weekly Meal Plans come with 20, 14, 10 or 7 meals per week. Weeks run from Friday breakfast to Thursday dinner. Unused meals do not carry over from week to week. Weekly Meal Plans come with 2 guest meals per semester and vary in their Flex Points.
- Flex Meal Plans come with 230, 165, 120 or 25 meals per semester. They can be debited at any time during the semester. Flex Meal Plans vary in their respective guest meals and Flex Points.
- Additional meals can always be added by purchasing Flex Points (1 meal = 5.75 points) by contacting the Brown Dining office, or at the door rate of $5.75.

How Flex Points Work
Here's the rundown on Flex Points:
- 1 Flex Point is equivalent to $1 at the register.
- Use Points to pay for a bite to eat or a drink at campus retail venues and cafés.
- Use Points to pay for food or supplies at the Campus Market.
- Use $5.75 in Points to eat at the Refectory or Verney-Woolley.
- Use as many or as few Points each day as fit your appetite.
- Meal Plans come preloaded with Flex Points for each semester, but many students buy additional Points to fit their needs.
- Students on meal plan who have run out of points can buy more at the Brown Dining office at 144 Thayer Street, behind the Ratty. Students can buy 25, 50, 75 or 100 Points. Use cash or a check, or charge it to your bursar account.
- 25 Points for $25
- 50 Points for $50
- 75 Points for $75
- 100 Points for $100
- Unused Points carry over from fall to spring semesters, but not from year to year.
