Travel + Leisure says Providence tops New York City for food, drinks, and restaurants comes in at number three in the country for best theater arts. College Hill was also selected as one of the top 10 great neighborhoods in America.

Jaime Toney (Geological Sciences) teaches hands-on science in Providence's Vartan Gregorian Elementary School though a National Science Foundation (NSF) program.

Graduate students Sara Mersha and Dayanch Hojagyeldiyev (middle and right, Environmental Studies), with Kyle Poyer ’10, helped author the Climate Risk Reduction Act of 2010.

 

The University and the city of Providence offer a stimulating environment for graduate students.

Brown offers tremendous educational and research opportunities. Its classrooms, labs, library system, technology, and campus facilities provide a secure, academically challenging environment in which students are given the tools they need to succeed.
