Set up automatic drive mapping

This article is intended for IT staff at Brown who need to set up and configure aspects of the Departmental File Service.  Faculty and staff who are general users of the service do not need to take action based on this document.

Automatic Drive Mapping is set by putting a script on the user object, in the form "departmentname.bat".   Find the user in AD. Under the User Profile tab, under login script, put the bat (batch) file name, as in Education.bat or OSP.bat.
