Troubleshoot Connecting to Brown's Wireless Network in Windows

  • Confirm that your wireless driver is up to date.
  • Some third-party wireless management utilities can interfere with Brown connections.  Prior to setup, verify that Windows is set to manage your wireless connections. If you have an Intel card, Intel PROSet may be set to manage your wireless connections. The Intel PROSet icon can be found in the system tray in bottom right of your display. To enable Windows management, right-click on the system tray item, choose "Use Windows to manage Wi-Fi."
