Streaming (files appear on your web browser): Flash and Apple streaming to computers and mobile devices is provided by Wowza for up to 400 concurrent users. Streaming content is viewed via the web and cannot be downloaded.
The Brown Instructional Technology (BIT) Grants Program is an opportunity for instructors to have digital projects created for their courses. BIT Grants consist of consulting from the Instructional Technology and the Media Production groups, and production work by a skilled team of Student Technology Assistants.
iTunes U @ Brown provides course support for the aggregation, organization and distribution of multimedia through the iTunes platform. The service allows instructors and students to upload and share media content including video, audio, and PDF documents. Using the service, course materials can be downloaded to personal iPods and iPhones for use anywhere.
