How to Apply

Project ARISE: Advancing Rhode Island Science Education

A complete application consists of:

1.  An application

2.  Memo of Understanding signed by both the applicant and either their science chair or principal.

If you've already submitted an application, you should have received an email confirmation from Summer and Continuing Studies.  Please contact our office at 863-7900 if you have not.

Eligibility

Applications from Rhode Island high school biology teachers will be considered.  We encourage pairs or teams of teachers from the same school to apply.  Priority will be given to teams of teachers applying from public schools. 

Selection Process

Every year for the duration of the program, fifteen applicants will be awarded the opportunity to participate in Project ARISE.  Preference will be given to pairs or teams of teachers who apply from the same school.
