Brown Leadership Institute: Leadership Development for High School Students

A complete application consists of five items:

  1. A completed Online Application (preferred) or PDF Download
  2. A Teacher's Recommendation
  3. An official school transcript
  4. The application fee (see below)
  5. An essay describing why you want to attend a Leadership Institute course.
    Social Change applicants:     please describe your community involvement and your interest in social issues

Once your complete application is received, our admission committee will review it and make a decision within ten days. You will be notified of the decision by mail. We do not read incomplete applications, so please be sure that your recommendations and transcripts were actually sent to us.

3/1/2009 to 4/30/2009: $60
5/1/2009 on:$90
Please make a check or money order payable to Brown University with your name and course code on the notation line. Application fees and program deposits are non-refundable.

International students: To help avoid the expense of forwarding money internationally, we will waive the application fee until after an admission review.
