How to Apply

Application Deadline: February 28, 2010

  1. A completed Online Application
  2. Official transcript (non-Brown students only)
  3. $300 non-refundable program deposit (checks made out to: Brown University)

The following forms and documents are required to obtain your student visa and complete your application:
Deadline: April 1, 2010

  1. Summer Abroad Acceptance Form
  2. General Travel Waiver
  3. Immunization History Form (non-Brown students only)
  4. Health Insurance Waiver Form (only for non-Brown students waiving the Brown student health insurance plan)
  5. Disability and Medical Accommodations Form (as applicable)
  6. Visa Application Form (see Instructions)
  7. Original Passport – keep a copy for your records (must be valid at least for 3 months after the end date of the program)
  8. One passport photo
  9. Copy of your green card or I-20 and F-1 visa (for non-US citizens)
  10. Copy of your travel itinerary
  11. One set of copies of all the forms and documents as listed above
