Study Abroad in Rome: How to Apply

To apply, submit:                                           

  1. A completed Online Application
  2. Official transcript (non-Brown students only)

The following forms and documents are required to obtain your student visa and complete your application:

  1. $300 non-refundable program deposit (checks should be made out to: Brown University)
  2. Visa Application Form (see Instructions)
  3. Original Passport – keep a copy for your records
  4. One (1) passport photo
  5. Copy of your green card or I-20 and F-1 visa (for non-US citizens)
  6. Copy of your travel itinerary
  7. One set of copies of all the forms and documents as listed above
  8. Summer Abroad Acceptance Form
  9.  General Travel Waiver
  10. Immunization History Form (non-Brown students only)
  11. Health Insurance Waiver Form (only if you are waiving the Brown student health insurance plan)
  12. Disability and Medical Accommodations Form (as applicable)
