Other Things to Know About Your Application
In May, 2008, Brown became a member of the consortium of colleges and universities belonging to the Common Application. All applicants for undergraduate admission are now required to submit the Brown Supplement in addition to the appropriate forms of the Common Application. The Brown Application to the College will no longer be produced. Please check with us again for more information in the months ahead.
Applicants must submit the Common Application First-Year Application and also the Brown Supplement for First-Year Applicants according to the deadlines listed below. Students must also provide supporting credentials to complement the forms of the application. These credentials include the results of standardized tests and official transcripts from all prior high school, college and distance-learning work. If you apply under Brown's Early Decision program your application must be postmarked no later than November 1.
If you apply under Brown's Regular Decision program your application must be postmarked no later than January 1.
If you apply under Brown's Transfer admission program your application must be postmarked no later than March 1.
