Graduation Dinner for MD 2012
Providence Marriott, One Orms Street, Providence, RI
An evening to honor Medical School faculty, residents, staff, and family members—this dinner is a wonderful event for graduates and their families. Each graduate attending will receive a complimentary ticket, and may purchase additional tickets for family members and friends. Tickets are $28 per person and go on sale in early April.

No later than 9:30 AM, all Medical School degree recipients, dressed in cap and gown, should report to the Marcus Aurelius Statue behind Sayles Hall for the class photograph.

Medical School Commencement Procession
Faunce House, Waterman Street
The Medical School Procession will line up at 10:30 AM in front of the Faunce Arch on Waterman Street, facing west, extending from Faunce House back toward Thayer Street, and will step off at approximately 10:45 AM. The Medical School Procession marches down to the First Unitarian Church, where the Medical School Ceremony and Awarding of Degrees takes place. Alumni are welcome to march (academic regalia required) and attend the ceremony.

Medical School Commencement Ceremony and Awarding of Degrees
First Unitarian Church, Corner of Benefit and Benevolent Streets
The Medical School Ceremony will begin at approximately 11:15 AM at the First Unitarian Church and the doors will open at 10:30 AM for general seating. Dr. Edward J. Wing, Dean of Medicine and Biological Sciences will preside. Immediately following the Medical School ceremony, a post-graduation reception for the Medical School faculty, graduates and their families, will be held at the Hope Club—across the street from the First Unitarian Church.
