Haitian revolution timeline, a research project by undergraduate Kona Shen
Clint Bruce, doctoral student, Department of French Studies, is working on a dissertation that examines transatlantic currents in three literatures (France, Louisiana, Haiti) of the “post-colonial,” pre-Negritude Atlantic space of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. DISSERTATION TITLE: LAtlantique et ses limites: visions littéraires du monde atlantique francophone en France, en Louisiane et en Haïti après la Révolution haïtienne (The Atlantic and Its Limits: Literary Visions of the Francophone Atlantic World in France, Louisiana, and Haiti after the Haitian Revolution)
