Requests for posting events or announcements to the home page may be submitted by contacting email@example.com. Be sure to include dates, times, and contact information. Events should also be posted on the university events calendar. Annoucements should be posted to the Brown Morning Mail.
How are events or announcements selected for the external Brown home page?
Events or announcements appearing in the "Take a Closer Look" section of the Brown University home page are chosen by the Web staff for their specific relevance to the academic and research goals of the University. Events or announcements appearing in the "Headlines and Events" section of the home page generally are selected from news releases distributed by the Brown University News Service.
How can I list my event or announcement on the University events calendar?
Events that are sponsored by, hosted by, or held in collaboration with a Brown University office, department, unit, school, or student organization can be posted on the university events calendar. For complete information, visit the calendar's publishing guidelines page.
How do I report broken links or suggest changes to the Brown Web?
Reports of broken or missing links as well as recommendations for changes may be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests for admission information or application status should be sent directly to those offices, not to the Web staff.
