Brown's financial assets and revenue streams are intended to support the basic teaching and research programs of the University. Our goal now is to increase those assets and revenues to support the Plan for Academic Enrichment and develop a more diversified revenue stream in order to provide a stable financial base and support those initiatives over the long term.

$1 Billion Milestone Reached!

On May 24, 2007, Boldly Brown: Campaign for Academic Enrichment passed the $1 BILLION milestone in total gifts and pledges. In fact, we reached $1,003,613,083. This spectacular achievement was met with huge fanfare by current trustees and trustees emeriti during the Corporation meeting on Thursday, May 24. Hats off to all the donors, volunteers, and staff who made this possible!

Donors and Dollars Set New Fund-Raising Records in FY 2007

Brown University announced a series of fund-raising results that set new records in numerous categories. Contributions to the Brown Annual Fund, Brown University Sports Foundation, and Brown Medical School Annual Fund, all reached historic highs. The Campaign for Academic Enrichment exceeded the $1-billion mark as it climbs within reach of the $1.4-billion goal, the largest in Brown’s history. [More]
