Publishing Web Pages

You've created your pages, now you want to get them to where everyone can see them. Here's a few steps to follow and tips to think about.

What is SFTP?
SFTP stands for the Secure File Transfer Protocol. You will use an SFTP client to send your web page files from your computer to the web server. SFTP clients that are supported by CIS are SSH for the Windows platform and MacSFTP for the Macintosh platform. SSH and MacSFTP can be downloaded from the Software Services site.

Validate Your Pages
Validation will ensure that you're using proper HTML, which increases the chances of your site having a consistent look to all users. Secondly, you should validate your pages as accessible to fulfill requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
