Johnnie Cochran lecture postponed

Famed trial lawyer Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. has postponed his scheduled appearance to deliver a John Hazen White Sr. Lecture at Brown .

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Attorney Johnnie L. Cochran Jr., scheduled to deliver a John Hazen White Sr. lecture at Brown University Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, has postponed his presentation. Cochran has advised University officials he will be unable to appear on that date due to a conflicting court commitment. He is expected to reschedule his lecture for later this semester.
