Graves disease

 

 

85% of cases of hyperthyroidism are associated with diffuse hyperplasia, Graves disease. (Left) There is

variation in the size and shape of the follicles which contain thin and watery colloid. (Right). There is a prominent

lymphoid infiltrate in the interstitium. The colloid in the follicles has a scalloped appearance.
