Chronic pyelonephritis
Chronic inflammatory infiltrate and fibrosis are present in the renal interstitium. Chronic pyelonephritis
usually follows reflux or obstruction. With progression, it will result in the same diffuse renal changes,
including vascular changes and sclerosis, associated with end-stage kidney of any cause.
