Design and fabricate a prototype low flow toilet by using jet actions to
enhance the gravity flush design improving upon current low flow toilets.
This will be done by studying the hydrodynamics of water in the toilet's
pipes in quasi-steady flow.
The pipes used will be of a standard plumbing size.
1.6 gallons of water will be the maxium used per flush in accordance with
the Energy Policy Act. Three different water jets will be tested to decide
which one requires the least amount of water.
The final design must be able to flush a bolus of
matter described in testing standards for toilets.
