Michael J. Hulstyn, M.D.

Dr. Hulstyn was an undergraduate at the University of California at Davis and received his M.D. from Brown University. He did his internship and general surgery residency at the University of California at San Diego. His orthopaedic training and chief residency was at Brown University. He did a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University with Dr. Boland. He is a Team Physician for Brown University, Bryant College, Providence Bruins Professional Hockey Club, the Rhode Island Sharks Junior Hockey Club, and Director of the Scholastic Athlete Injury Clinic. His research interests include clinical and basic science projects studying sports-related injuries to the shoulder and knee.
