Dr. Salloway is part of an interdisciplinary research group focused on studying the natural history and treatment of neuropsychiatric syndromes through clinical trials and brain imaging. Some current and future research projects include subcortical vascular disease, cognitive functioning in aging, late-life depression, adult attention deficit disorder, frontal lobe syndromes, and neurosurgical treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Additional current research projects include clinical trials for memory loss, a study of CADASIL: a genetic form of subcortical dementia, and MRI-autopsy protocols.
