  Research Summary:

The Medical Physics section at Rhode Island Hospital is interested in the application of physics to medicine with particular interest in diagnostic imaging techniques--such as nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, etc. The group also investigates the health effects of ionizing and nonionizing radiation used in medical diagnosis and research to patients and to occupationally exposed personnel.
