Professional/Research Interests:

I am a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist at Women & Infants= Hospital, and am active in infertility and In Vitro Fertilization research. My research involves ongoing projects in menopause, and endometriosis. In addition, I work as a co-investigator for the Women’s Health Initiative. I also am pursuing educational projects related to student and resident education.

Having recently completed a 15 month teaching scholars program focused on student and resident education in obstetrics and gynecology, I find the teaching of medical students fascinating. I teach at Brown in the second year pathophysiology course in Human Reproduction where I have previously served as the director for the section. I also run an elective on Reproductive Health for fourth year students. I am a preceptor and lecturer in the 3rd year core clerkship in obstetrics and gynecology. As a co leader for an affinity group and a member of the Affinity Group Executive Committee, I have worked with the committee on improving the program for students and as a liaison for faculty. Lastly, I also was an original member of the Medical Faculty Executive Committee and currently serve on the Medical School Curriculum Committee.
