"Some brief and short rules for the better learning of the Indian tongue called Poconchi, or Pocoman, commonly used about Guatemala and some other parts of Honduras", p. 213-220, is a discussion of the grammar of the Poconchi language and also includes several expressions and phrases in the text. Edition statement precedes statement of responsibility on title page. Originally printed London, 1648 under title: The English-American his travail by sea and land: or, A new survey of the West-India's [sic]. "Upon this worthy work, of his most worthy friend the authour", p. [9-12], 1st count, signed: Thomas Chaloner. Primarily in English but includes passages in Latin and Spanish.
